Regular hygiene appointments are an important part of maintaining healthy teeth and gums. More than just a clean, our hygiene team provides preventative care to support your ongoing dental health.

We allow an hour for a thorough assessment of your dental health. This includes more than checking your teeth and gums, we also assess your whole head, jaw and neck, as changes or symptoms in these areas can sometimes point to something that needs closer attention.

• Detailed gum charting – assessment of frequency and amount of bleeding, depth of gum pockets and bone levels, gum recession, tooth mobility
• Oral hygiene and cleaning techniques
• Polishing
• Fluoride application (decay prevention)
